Like any good RPG, Elden Ring also contains magic. In Elden Ring, There are two types of magical spells: Sorcery & Incantations. Sorcery requires Intelligence attributes and Incantations require Faith Attributes. Some of the starting classes allow players to use magic from the start of the game. Players who didn’t select a mage starting class are finding it difficult how to get started using magic spells. This guide shows how to get and use Incantation Spells. How to get and use Incantation Spells
Incantation requires Faith attributes. First, you will need to find Incantation Spells. Once, you have found an incantation spell, you will need to memorize it at a Site of Grace. You must have a Sacred Seal equipped to cast incantations. Confessor & Prophet classes come with starter spells and a Sacred Seal. Below, I will show the location of Incantation Merchant and the location of an early game Sacred Seal that will help you start using incantations.
Where to Learn Incantation Spells
A couple of hours into the game, you will go to the Table of Lost Grace. If you have not been able to unlock it yet, then keep playing, and eventually it will be unlocked. You can purchase incantation spells from the merchant in Table of Lost Grace as shown in the pictures below.
Where to Find Sacred Seal early
You can purchase a Sacred Seal named Finger Seal from Twin Maiden Husks merchant in the Table of Lost Grace for 800 Runes.
Now Equip the Finger Seal. When you want to use spells, switch to Finger Seal, and you will be able to cast incantation spells.
