This guide will show you how to obtain all achievements of Act 1 in the game Scorn. Scorn is the latest addition to Xbox Game Pass and was released on October 14, 2022. Act 1 has three achievements but you get either 001 or 002 achievements in a single playthrough. You can use the chapter/checkpoint to replay Act 1 again to collect the achievement you missed.
Continue playing until you reach a room with the Crane Slider Egg Puzzle, where you must solve the puzzle to lower the man within the egg.
Then, take the elevator down to the open middle section and climb the ramp. You must choose whether to kill or save the man. Saving him unlocks the “Extraction” achievement, whereas killing him unlocks the “Hand in Hand” achievement.
001 – Extraction
Set both the bottom switches as shown below.
Get down the ramp and use the lever to place the man inside the egg (shell) on the chair/trolly. Take the guy straight to the Saw machine room.
Cut the shell around him by using the mechanism. Go near the guy and remove the shells to earn the achievement.
002 – Hand in Hand
Set the bottom left switch only as shown below.
Get down the ramp and use the lever to place the man inside the egg (shell) on the chair/trolly. Take him directly to the chamber with the hanging shell.
Use the mechanism to kill him and then pick up his arm.
Open the gate with the arm to obtain the achievement.
003 – Hazardous Occurrence
This achievement is story-related and should not be missed. After unlocking the door (with the hand), take the elevator to the next area.
Collect the gun from the room at the very end.
Navigate to the room on the right to uncover a battery-like structure. Go to the room on the left to unlock another battery.
Follow the white flying objects to reach the center of the room.
Install three batteries onto a central pillar using a flying mechanism. This earns you the achievement 003.
