Search Barney’s hideout for evidence

Go to the location marked in the picture below.

Climb up using the ladder as shown in the picture below.

Then lockpick the door to go inside. After that turn left and go through another door in the left. Here you will find a GRE Grate. Turn left and enter another room. In this room, move the wooden plant as shown in the picture below. Then go inside and investigate the object on the ground as shown in the second picture below.

Defeat Barney

Now Barney will attack you and you will have to fight him. Based on whom you assigned the water tower, you will have two different endings here.

Assigned the water tower to the Survivors

Sophie will appear and stop the fight and you will get the objective to “Wait for Sophie’s Call“. She will call you after around 15 minutes. Then go and meet her in the Bazaar to complete the quest.

Assigned the water tower to the Peacekeepers

Aitor will appear and he will arrest Barney. You will now get the objective to “Meet Aitor at the PK metro station“. Go and meet Aitor in the PK metro station to complete the quest.
