You will get the ‘Search for Queepie’ side quest after reaching Aquato Family Camp in ‘The Questionable Area’. Queepie Aquato is a member of the Aquato family. He is the younger brother of Raz. For this quest, you will need to find Queepie six times. This article shows how to get the ‘Search for Queepie’ optional mission and how to find Queepie. Finding all Queepie locations also unlocks the “Dance Baby Dance” Trophy/ Achievement.
How to Start ‘Search for Queepie’ side quest
To start the ‘Search for Queepie’ side quest you will have to go to Aquato Family Camp in ‘The Questionable Area’. You can go to ‘The Questionable Area’ through the central platform in The Motherlobe, once it is unlocked by progressing in the main story.
After reaching the ‘Aquato Family Camp’, talk to Raz’s mother, Donatella, and select the ‘Can I Help?’ dialogue option to start the quest. For the quest, you will have to find the six locations where you will find Queepie. He will be listening to a radio, and you can use its sound to know if Queepie is near.
How to find Queepie: Location 1
The first location of Queepie is near the small wooden bridge. Next to the bridge is a house with a waterwheel. Queepie is standing in front of the house, near a board with “Rules” notice on it. Talk to Queepie for a cutscene. Queepie will run away after talking to you. The picture below shows the map of the “Questionable Area”.
How to find Queepie: Location 2
The second location is inside the “Cave of the Sassclops” (Marked as Area C on the map). Go till the end of the camp. After you come outside from the other side, you will see Queepie sitting there.
How to find Queepie: Location 3
The third location of Queepie is at the treetop near the Questionable area entrance. To reach the treetop use the vines on the tree near the fast travel hatch as shown in the picture below.
After climbing the tree using the vine, walk over the rope to reach the next tree. Use the vines on this tree to climb further above. After climbing, again walk over a rope to reach the platform on the other side. Here you will find Queepie sitting at the edge of the platform.
How to find Queepie: Location 4
Queepie’s fourth location is at the treetop near the Forgetful Forest (Marked as area F on the map). To reach the location, jump to the top of the restroom roof.
On the restroom roof, you can see a stair. climb it to reach the platform above. Take the rope to reach the platform on the other side.
On this platform, you will find a pole. Use it to climb to the platform above.
On the upper lever platform, you will find a small plant with bouncy leaves (See picture below). Jump on it to reach the platform in the front. You will find Queepie on this platform behind the tree.
How to find Queepie: Location 5
The fifth location of Queepie is at the roof of the Lumberstack diner (Location marked E on the map). Jump on the hood of the car in front of the diner to jump to the roof, where you will find Queepie.
How to find Queepie: Location 6
The final location of Queepie is on treetop at Aquato Family Camp. To reach Queepie, light the campfire at the center of Aquato Family Camp using Pyrokinesis. This will create an updraft.
Use levitation on the updraft to jump to the walkway near the waterwheel as shown in the picture below. At the end of this platform, you will find a bouncy plant. Use it to jump to the platform in the front.
At the end of this platform, you will find a bouncy net. use it to jump the platform above on the right side.
On this platform, you will find a steel bar. jump and grab it. It will descend and take you to the platform underneath it, where you will find Queepie as shown in the picture below. Talk to him to complete the quest.
