This article will guide the player on how to complete the side quest ‘The Legend of the Sandfish‘ for the chapter ‘Neon Revenge‘ in Split Fiction, released on 6 March 2025.
As the side quest begins, have Mio and Zoe slide down the sandy slope. Once they reach the bottom, move forward and climb up the wooden ledge on the left. After reaching the top, look for the grappling and use it to swing across to the next platform.
At the top, make Mio & Zoe to work together to push open a giant door and step inside to continue the adventure.
Next, slide down another section of the sandy slope to continue to proceed ahead.
Now, Mio and Zoe will reach a part of the quest where they must cross a sandy area filled with sandfish. These fishes are dangerous because they can sense movement and attack. To safely get across, they need to distract the sandfish. To do this, make one player to use the Tower Thump to create a loud noise. When the sandfish hear the sound, they will be drawn toward it, giving the other player a chance to quickly run to the next platform.
Next, carefully make your way across a sandy area by jumping on narrow wooden poles.
Once both Zoe and Mio reach the other side, have them work together to turn the pulley and tighten the rope. Once the rope is tight enough, carefully guide them across by doing a rope walk.
Next, climb up the narrow wooden poles carefully. Once at the top, perform a double jump to leap across and reach the platform on the other side.
Keep moving forward and make your way higher until you reach the top of the structure. Once you get there, go up the stairs and have Mio and Zoe work together to push open the large door.
From the top, take a leap and drop down onto the sandfish below. Once on their backs, you need to ride the sandfish to escape. While riding, be careful to avoid obstacles by jumping over them at the right time.
Finally escape the area to end the quest.
