This article will guide the player through the side quest ‘Farmlife ‘ for the level ‘Streets of Neon’ in chapter ‘Neon Revenge‘ in Split Fiction, released on 6 March 2025.
In this Farmlife side quest, both players are transformed into pigs with each having their unique powers. Mio (Player 1) can jump and launch forward using her fart. Zoe (Player 2) poses a spring sling to reach a higher place.
Apple Puzzle #1
As the side quest starts, make Mio (Player 1) climb up the smaller hay on the right side and Zoe (Player 2) to the taller hay on the left side. Then make them jump over the fence.
In the final section, both players must collect apples to open the gate. Have Mio go to the right side of the hay to collect the green apple, while Zoe grabs the pink apple.
Outside The Barn – Apple #2
Once both players are outside the building, they need to collect two more apples to enter the next barn.
As Mio: Look for three hay bale platforms lined up in a row. Stand near them and wait for a bubble to come near them. Use the bubble to propel yourself up and climb onto the hay. Then, jump and use your fart ability to move from one hay bale to another until you reach the pink apple.
As Zoe: Look for the two silo towers on the left side. The apple is on top of the taller silo. Wait for a bubble to reach the shorter silo, then use it to jump up. Finally, use your sling jump ability to reach the top of the taller silo and collect the apple. Use both apples to open the new barn.
Inside the barn, move forward until you find a spade stuck in the wall. Use your ability to reach the spade, and it will propel you upward, allowing you to land on the ledge and exit the barn.
Apple #3
Go toward the basket of tomatoes hanging from a rope. As Mio: Jump and use your fart ability on the spade to propel yourself upward. This will help Mio reach the basket of tomatoes. Once Mio lands on top of the basket, its weight will lower it down, allowing Zoe to jump onto the basket as well.
Next, have Mio jump out of the basket, which will make it rise back to its original position. Now, Zoe can stretch and jump to reach the Green apple.
To get the pink apple, go to the left side and find a shovel on the ground that works like a seesaw. Have Mio sit on the long end, and then make Zoe sit near the short end. Make Zoe jump and drop down onto the seesaw. This will launch Mio into the air, allowing her to fart glide onto the hay bale with the pink apple.
Go through the apple door and follow the path until you reach the apple baskets. Have both players jump into the baskets. Float across the water and reach the other side.
Sausage Puzzle
Once on the other side, jump into the fruit basket, which will drop both characters into a meat grinder. This will transform them into hot dogs. First, press the button on the grill to turn it on. Then, use the tongs to land on the grill and start cooking.
Next, go to the ketchup bottle. Have one hot dog stand underneath it while the other jumps on top to squeeze out the ketchup and cover them both.
Finally, head to the hot dog bun to complete the dish and the sidequest.
