This article will guide the player on how to complete the side quest ‘Mountain Hike‘ for the level ‘Big City Life‘ in chapter ‘Neon Revenge‘ in Split Fiction, released on 6 March 2025.
Starting Location:
To start the sidequest, make Mio enter the portable toilets and let Zoe use her magnetic power to toss the portable toilets on the higher roof across the building. After Mio reaches the higher roof, have her lower the ladder for Zoe. Then, interact with the side story bubble to enter Mountain Hike.
Mountain Hike Walkthrough
In this side quest, Zoe and Mio must swing through the mountains and use the giant’s help to complete the quest. At the start of the side quest, head up the slope to find a large gong. Have both Zoe and Mio strike it simultaneously to awaken a towering giant from the mountains.
Once the giant emerges, step onto its hand. The giant will lift and transport you toward the next one.
As you approach, jump off and use the grappling point to swing toward the next giant ahead.
The second giant will carry you to a ledge. Wait there as the third giant slams its massive foot down to shatter the mountain wall. This will reveal a new path for you to continue forward.
Use the grappling point to move forward. Finally, latch onto the giant’s nose ring as a grappling point to land on the pole.
Carefully walk across the pole, then climb up the vines to reach the next giant. Slide down its massive shoe and leg to land on the platform to the left.
Continue forward until a giant appears and moves a large rock, creating a path for you to perform a wall run and advance.
Next, you’ll encounter a group of giants sitting on a ledge. Use their oversized shoes as grappling points to swing across and progress further to reach a giant’s hand.
This is followed by a cool cutscene where a giant stumbles and slides wildly, carrying both players along.
As the free fall begins, quickly look for grappling points on the mountain. Hook onto them to slow your descent and navigate toward the next area, eventually landing on the hand of another giant.
Continue forward until you come across another giant cutting through the mountains. Climb onto its massive axe and hold onto the screws tightly. When the giant swings the axe and strikes the mountain, jump off and proceed ahead.
Continue forward until you reach a giant fishing in the water. Jump across the poles to reach the bobber floating above the bait, then climb onto it.
The giant will lift the bobber and swing it, marking the end of the quest.
