In Part 1: Chapter – Escape of Silent Hill: Townfall, you will encounter a locked room where you need to solve the Door & CRTV Puzzle to escape. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the puzzle step by step, including how to use the CRTV, identify the correct clues, and unlock the door so you can continue your journey.
There are three clues you need to find to solve the locked door puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall. You can find two clues in the CRTV recording and the last clue on the Room Service Card.
The Number 18
Interact with the CRTV and tune it to the second yellow signal. Store the signal and play the recording. Near the beginning of the footage, you will see the number 18. This is the day for the outer ring of the door lock.
The Month January
Keep watching the same CRTV recording. During the footage, you will see a calendar with a pencil pointing to January. This gives you the month for the middle ring. Set the middle ring to JANUARY.
The Year 1996
For the final clue, examine the Room Service Card found on the desk in the hotel room. Look at the year printed on the card. The clue gives you 1996, which is used for the inner ring.
Once you have all three clues, return to the locked door and set the rings to 18, JANUARY, and 1996. The lock will open automatically.
