The Organ Transplant Box is one of the puzzles you’ll encounter in Part 1: Chapter 3: A Connection in Silent Hill: Townfall. The box is locked, and you need to find the right clues around the area to get the correct lock combination. This article shows you how to open the Organ Transplant Box, where to find the clues, and the correct solution so you can continue through Chapter 3 without getting stuck.
GET THE FLASHLIGHT
Before you can open the Organ Transplant Box, you first need to read Zoe’s emails on her computer. However, you cannot access the computer right away because the electricity is not working. So, you need to fix the electricity meter. Start by getting the flashlight from the drawer located to the left of the Organ Transplant Box.
GET AA BATTERIES
Go upstairs, then enter the room on the left. Once inside, look for the drawer along the wall and open it to collect the batteries.
COMBINE FLASHLIGHT & BATTERIES
Once you have the flashlight and the batteries, combine these items to make the flashlight work.
GET ORGAN TRANSPLANT CARD
Next, enter Zoe’s bedroom, which is the room on the left at the top of the stairs. Once inside, go to the bathroom. Look on the mat beside the shower to find the Human Transplant Card. Pick it up to continue.
GET PREPAID POWER CARD
Open your map and look for the Newsagent marked on it. Leave Zoe’s house and follow the map to the shop. When you reach the Newsagent, do not try to enter through the front door, as it is locked.
Instead, stand facing the front of the shop and move to the left side of the building. Follow the path around the side until you reach the back door. Once inside, go behind the counter and look for the cash register. Interact with the register to collect the Electricity Card.
POWER BOX PUZZLE
Now, return to Zoe’s house. Use your working flashlight to examine the electricity meter underneath the staircase. Shine the flashlight to reveal the Prepaid Power Card near the meter box. Pick up the card and read it to find the information needed for the next step.
Follow the instructions on the Electricard Credit Guide you are holding:
- Insert the Electricard into the card slot on the electricity meter.
- Press Button A to cycle through the available options until you select Card Credit.
- Press Button B to apply the credit to the meter.
- Push the Power switch (Red) to restore the electricity.
READ ZOE’S MAIL
With the power restored, go to the living room and interact with the computer. Read the emails to find the information needed to solve the Organ Transplant Box.
The email explains that the combination is based on the first three and last three numbers of the ET-No. printed on the right side of the Human Transplant Card.
