The locked black box is in a room upstairs inside the 6 North Brae house. Near the Black box, you’ll find a note called the Lamenting Poem on a chair.
This poem gives you the hints you need to open the locked black box. To solve it, you need to find three paintings: one of boats, one of bridge arches, and one of children, and count how many of each item appear.
- The boat painting is in the same room. Look closely to count the boats. There are 7 boats in this painting.
- The arches painting is in the bedroom. There are 3 arches shown in this painting.
- Downstairs in the living room, there are framed photos of children on the wall. Count the children shown across these photos. In total, there are 6 children.
Using these numbers, you get the code 736 for the Lamenting Poem puzzle. Go back to the locked black box in the bedroom and enter 736 to open it. Inside, you’ll find the Barcode.
