A particular tier Somber Smithing Stone is required based on the level of the gear you want to upgrade. For example, to upgrade a level 6 arnament to level 7, you will need Somber Smithing Stone [7].
You can purchase unlimited Somber Smithing Sones 7 & 8 from Twin Maiden Husks Vendor in the Table of the Lost Grace. But you cannot do it straightaway. You will first need to find Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [4] to unlock Somber Smithing Stone 7 & 8 for purchase. You cannot get Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [4] until a very later stage in the game. First, you will have to defeat the Fire Giant Boss, who is in the snowy area on the northeastern part of the map. This will unlock the small island on the right side. Go to the Tempest-Facing Balcony Site of Grace on this island. you will find Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [4] near this Site of Grace as shown in the pictures below.
How to get unlimited Somber Smithing Stone 7 & 8
Once you have Somberstone Miner’s Bell, go to the Table of the Lost Grace and give it to Twin Maiden Husks. Now you will be able to purchase Somber Smithing Stone 7 & 8 infinitely for a certain cost.
