Stray: All Safe & Door Code Locations Guide

This guide shows the location for all the Safe Codes and door Codes in the STRAY game. Check the video below for a video walkthrough.

1) Chapter 3: The Flat

In “The Flat”, you will encounter a locked door just after you meet B-12. Enter the room on the right side of the door and you can see the code written on a board as shown in the picture below. You will need to drop a bottle kept in front of the board to be able to see the code. The code is 3748.

2) Chapter 4: The Slums (Trash Safe)

From the Guardian, go left as shown in the picture below. At the end of the path, you will find a safe.

Pick up “Safe’s Mysterious Password” stuck to the safe.

Now trace your path back and go to the Guardian’s location. Opposite the Guardian, you will see two alleyways. Take the left alley as shown in the picture below.

In this alley, you will find a door on the right side with some circuits drawn on it. Scratch the door to open it.

Then enter the house and go to the upper floor. Talk to Elliot here and show him the note. He will tell you that the note says “Dufer Bar”.

Trace your path back in the same alley to find Dufer Bar. Enter the bar and remove the painting on the counter to reveal the code as shown in the picture below. Now go back to the safe and enter the code (1283) to open it.

3) Chapter 4: The Slums (Library Safe)

This one is in the library. After coming out of Momo’s apartment, go right to reach the library as shown in the picture below.

Inside the library, collect the keys as shown below.

In the library, you will see some piles of books as shown below. Knock them over to reveal the safe behind them. Then use the keys to open the safe and get the Notebook.

4) Chapter 6: The Slums Part 2

In Chapter 6, when you are in Seamus’s house, you will need this code to open the Secret Lab Door. Interact with the painting as shown in the picture below to reveal a keypad.

Remove another painting on the right side to reveal some text on the wall as shown in the picture below. The text says “Time Will Tell”.

On the opposite side of this painting, you can see 4 clocks. They tell the code for the door as shown in the picture below. The Code is 2511.

5) Chapter 10: Midtown

Just after entering Midtown, enter the shop on the right side as shown in the picture below.

On a poster in this shop, you can see the mirrored code (2458 :edoC) as shown in the picture below. The safe is on top of a shelf in the same shop. Enter the code 8542 to open the safe.
