FF7 Rebirth: Stuck in a Rut
This guide shows how to complete the Stuck in a Rut Side Quest in the Junon Region of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game, which released on 29th February 2024. Go to Gabe’s Ranch as shown in the picture below and talk to the Ranch owner to start the quest. To proceed in the quest, first, you will need to catch the Chocobo named Belle which will help you climb up the mountains.
Catch Chocobo Belle
Go to the location shown in the picture below to find Chocobo Belle. Catching Belle can be a bit tricky. Follow the process explained below in the article to catch it easily.
Pull the first lever as shown in the picture below. This will get the cart moving. Hide behind the cart and proceed ahead to move across without being seen.
After crossing the rail tracks, pull the second lever as shown in the picture below. This will get the second cart moving. Now, quickly roll to reach the moving cart as shown in the second picture below, without alerting the Chocobos. If you are finding it difficult to reach the cart without getting caught, then throw a rock to distract the Chocobo. Then move behind the cart and proceed ahead to reach the end of the track.
Hide in the bushes and pick up a rock there. Throw the rock at the third lever as shown in the picture below. This will get the final cart moving. Hide behind the cart and move along with it. Change your position behind the cart to hide from the Chocobos in the path. Finally, you will reach Belle. Approach it from behind and then catch it when the prompt appears on the screen. This will complete the objective.
Head to the Wainwright’s Hut
The location of the hut is shown in the picture below. Ride Belle and climb up the mountains from the position shown below to reach the hut. Talk to Wainwright to complete the objective.
Gather Materials for the Wainwright
The location of the three materials that you need to gather is shown in the pictures below. Mount a Chocobo and search the areas. When the “?” symbol appears, use your Chocobo sniff-out and dig the materials.
Report to the Wainwright
Go back to the hut and give the materials to Wainwright. He will give you the carriage items in return.
Unlock the Carriage
Take the items back to Gabe and give them to him. This will complete the quest. This also unlocks the carriage as shown in the picture below. You can use the carriage to travel back to Grasslands as well.
