In New Pokemon Snap, travel to the islands that make up the Lental region. There are dozens of Pokémon roaming around Lental island. The request is to take a Snap of Illumina Wishiwashi (School Form) with a water vortex in the frame.

- Location: Lental Seafloor Illumina Spot.
- You need to summon the Wishiwashi (School Form) at the start of the Illumina Spot course (in the first area).
- In this area, you will see multiple groups of fishes. Each group is comprised of 3 Wishiwashi (Solo Form) and 2 Finneon.
- You need to hit the 3 Wishiwashi (solo form) in a group with Illumina Orbs. You’ll need to do this to at least 3 of these groups of fish in this area.
- You will then encounter the Illumina Pokemon Wishiwashi (School Form). Hit it with Illumina orbs until it reaches its maximum Illumina glow (indicated by the green glow appearing on its scales).
- It will then swim around to create an underwater vortex. Take a Snap of Illumina Wishiwashi (School Form) with a water vortex in the frame.
