A player just needs to head the purple-colored treasure hunt icon and need to read the note that starts the treasure hunt.
Starting Location: Sword-Crossed Lovers
The treasure hunt “Sword-Crossed Lovers” starting location is in the “Barrial” sub-region of the Valle De Oro Region. Proceed to the starting point of the treasure hunt, which is located at the mouth of a skull-shaped cave north of Fragoso Escraptment. Read the letter posted near the blocked cave entrance to start the Treasure Hunt.
Objective: Find the pirate treasure
As the treasure quest starts your only goal is to locate the pirate treasure. Destroy the wooden barricade to the right of the treasure note and head inside the pirate cave. You will reach a hall with a locked jailed room that contains the treasure chest. Climb up the metal stairs and, lookup for a grappling point.
Use it to swing over to a platform. Continue going upstairs till you’ll come out of the cave, where you must climb yellow ledges of some rocks.
Walk up the mountain. Once you reach the top, head down the rusted metal stairs, which lead into a cave with water and a wrecked pirate ship. Use the Grapple hook on the ship mast to grapple down and swing to the deck of the ship where a cannon is located. Or simply jump into the water and swim up to the deck.
Interact with the cannon to fire a cannonball. This will blow up the rocks blocking the path leading to the treasure chest.
Use your grappling hook on the ship’s mast once more, but this time swing over to the cave path on the right where you blew up the large boulders with the cannon. Continue through there until you reach the treasure chest at the end. This grants the one-of-a-kind weapon “La Petite Mort” (Grenade Launcher).
