In this guide, we’ll show you where to locate the axe from the quest ‘The Axe from the Lake’ and repair it for combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (KCD2)
Starting Location
To start this quest, head to the Tavern in Tachov and speak with an NPC named Zedenyek the Mouth. He will tell a story about an axe that resulted in the deaths of a couple of brothers. In this sidequest, your task is to locate this axe and repair it.
To find the axe, head to the pond area southwest of Tachov. You can start your search from the small dock shown in the map below.
Turn around from the dock and head straight to the top of the hill. Go past the giant Oak tree and then a giant blouder on your left.
Once you arrive at the marked location, search the ground for a freshly dug grave. Interact with the spot to dig it up, then examine the bag inside. Loot it to obtain the Broken Axe.
Repair the axe from the tale
Visit any blacksmith shop to repair the axe. Gather the necessary materials from the blacksmith station and forge the Adorned Axe.
Tell Zdenyek about the axe
Return to Zdenyek at the tavern and tell him about the axe to end the quest.
