Hive and Seek is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This article will guide you through every objective of the Hive and Seek side quest, including where to go, what to investigate, and how to complete each step.
Starting Location
Hive and Seek side quest starts automatically after you complete the “Song of the Mountain” side quest.
Talk to Lacra
Head to Uriash Village, located in the western part of the map, and speak with Lacra.
Go to the caves with Lacra
After speaking with Lacra, follow her as she leads you down the mountain inside a nearby cave. Enter the cave to find Isbrand.
Find and question Isbrand
Go deeper into the cave, but be careful around the silver-infused water. Standing in it will slowly damage Coen, so avoid touching it whenever possible.
Use Shadowstep abilities to jump across the platforms. Also climb along the walls above the silver water. Keep moving through the cave and defeat the corrupted Kobolds that attack you along the way.
(Optional) Follow Kobold guidance
After you defeat another group of corrupted Kobolds, the Kobold Hive will speak to Coen. It offers to help you find Isbrand if you deal with the remaining corrupted Kobolds. Follow it closely and take the left path when you reach the next area. Continue following the Kobold deeper into the tunnels.
Defeat the corrupted kobolds
You’ll encounter another group of corrupted Kobolds along the way. Defeat them to clear the path and continue following the Kobold deeper into the cave.
Ambush Chonk using the secret tunnel
Follow the Kobold through the cave until it leads you to an opening above a room. Jump down and defeat the enemies below, including the miniboss Chonk.
Talk to Isbrand
You can then interact with Isbrand hanging on the wall, to end the quest.
