This guide shows how to complete “The Daunt” Relic Ruin in Horizon Forbidden West, which released for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 on 18th February 2022.
The Daunt Relic Ruin
The location of the ruin is marked in the picture below.
You will find a crate on the north side of the ruin. Pull the crate inside the ruins and place it under the ledge as shown in the picture below. Then use the crate to climb over the ledge. Here you will find a locked door. You will need to find a key module and the door code to open his door.
After climbing up the ledge, take the path on the left side then drop down in the next room. In this room, you will find a Datapoint that contains the door code (1705) as shown in the pictures below.
In the same room, you will see a vent and a vertical beam as shown in the picture below. Use the pullcaster to open the vent and to make the beam horizontal.
Then turn around and use the pullcaster to pull down the crate on the upper floor as shown in the picture below.
Place this crate under the beam as shown below. Then use the crate to climb up the beam and then climb up to the vent. Go through the vent and drop down in the next room.
After dropping down, turn round and use the pullcaster to break the wall as shown below. You will be needing it later.
Then jump down the hole in the ground to enter the underground cave. Here, when you will try to climb the ledge, it will break. Now turn around and go till the end of the underground cave. Look up and use the pullcaster to break the ceiling as shown in the picture below.
Now go back to the ground and go through the hole on the wall to reach the previous room. Push the crate and drop it down the broken cave ceiling as shown in the picture below.
Then push the crate and take it to the broken ledge as shown below.
Now climb the ledge to reach the upper level. Then turn right and jump to the balcony, where you will find the key module as shown below.
After picking up the key module, climb up the wall on the right side to reach the roof of the ruin. Then jump across the roof to go back to the locked door. Insert the key module and enter the door code (1705) to unlock the door. Go inside and pick up the ornament to complete the relic ruin.
