This guide shows how to complete the “Go to the Repair Bay Core” objective in “The Dying Lands” main quest in Horizon Forbidden West.
Go to the Repair Bay Core
After you get the objective, go straight ahead and Override Cauldron Door as shown below and enter the next area.
Stand on the triangle-shaped panel as shown below. This will make the three parts of the pillar next to it start rotating. To lock the parts into place, shoot the gears when they are glowing as shown in the second picture below. Once the three parts are locked into place, climb up the pillar.
Proceed ahead and climb up the ledges. Then break the windows glasses as shown below and enter the room.
Inside this room, you will find a crate. Push this crate out through the shield as shown below.
Then push the crate on top of the panel as shown in the pictures below. This will make the two parts of a pillar rotate.
To lock the parts into place, shoot the gears when they are glowing. Once the two parts are locked into place, climb up the pillar as shown below.
Then jump down and stand on the panel as shown below. This will make the three parts of a pillar rotate. To lock the parts into place, shoot the gears when it is glowing. Once the three parts are locked into place, climb up the pillar as shown in the second picture below.
From there, jump down on the platform in front of it. Then turn left and jump down to the platform containing the network uplink. Override the network uplink.
Go through the door on this platform. Then turn left and jump on the ledge on the right side to reach the platform further ahead as shown in the picture below.
From this platform, jump down and go straight ahead as shown below.
At the end of the path, jump on the ledge ahead and climb up the platform as shown below. Then turn left and climb up the ledges to reach the upper platform as shown in the second picture below. Here you will have to Override another network uplink.
Go through the next door and proceed ahead. Jump down at the location shown below and go to the ledges on the left side. Then climb up the ledges as shown in the second picture below to reach the upper level.
Then turn right and climb up the ledges as shown below.
Here you will see metal carriers flying. Jump and catch a ledge on one of the metal carriers and then climb up to the higher ledge on the metal carrier.
From the metal carrier, turn around and glide down to the platform containing the network uplink as shown in the picture below. Override the network uplink.
Go through the door on this platform and proceed in a linear path. Override the Cauldron door at the end of the path as shown below. This will complete the objective.
