This guide shows how to complete the world quest “The Grave of the Guarded” in Genshin Impact 2.6, which was released on 30th March 2022. Completing this quest grants the Wonders of the World Achievement “The Beautiful and Damned.”
Investigate the ruins ahead and find a path
As the quest starts, your first goal is to head to the marked location and investigate the ruins. The game will engage in you a long conversation with Dainsleif, where you will discuss signs of hilichurl activity in the area.
Defeat the Black Serpent Knights
After the long conversation, defeat 2 x Shadowy Husk: Line Breaker that spawns in the area
Go to the entrance to the ruins
After defeating both the Black Serpent Knights, head northwest to the next marked location at the entrance of the ruins.
Go to the lit room in the ruins
Go to the lit room nearby. Cross the gap by jumping through the floating debris.
Defeat the Black Serpent Knights
Defeat two more Black Serpent Knights
Continue investigating the ruins
After defeating both the monsters, climb up the vines at the corner of the room to reach the upper floor to continue the investigation.
Defeat yet again set of three Black Serpent Knights and examine what the Black Serpent Knights were protecting near three old hilichurl.
Go to the chamber at the center of the ruins’ summit
After investigating the hilichurls nearby, your goal is to enter the chamber at the center of the ruins’ summit.
You will reach another room with an upside-down teleport waypoint.
Reaching the chamber is a bit tricky. You need to pass through different points before this the center of the ruins submits. Refer to the below images on the route that needs to be followed.
Glide to the middle tower as shown below.
Now, you need to reach the marked on the upper floor.
First, glide through the gap and grab the wall behind the giant root.
Climb up the wall and then land on to the giant root.
