Diablo 4: The Heretic Quest Walkthrough
This guide shows the complete walkthrough of The Heretic side quest in the Diablo 4 game, released on 6th June 2023. You get the quest by talking to Vass in the Umir Plateau area in the Hawezar region as shown in the pictures below.
Search for Survivors at the Abandoned Ruins
Go to the location shown in the pictures below and slay the demons there. Then go near the woman standing there and she will run away.
Speak with the frightened girl
Run after the frightened girl and talk to her at the location shown in the pictures below.
Help Aneta gather flowers
Interact with the plants shown in the pictures below and gather the flower. Make sure that you are not on a horse otherwise, you won’t be able to interact with the plants.
Escort Aneta back to Zarbinzet
Escort Aneta back to Zarbinzet at the location shown in the pictures below and speak to her.
Find Aneta and Enter the Forgotten Cave
Go to the location shown in the pictures below and you will find Aneta in front of the Forgotten Cave. She will open the cave for you. Many players are reporting a bug here. Anita won’t open the cave and the cave won’t appear. If you are facing the same bug, then abandon the quest and do it all over again. Go inside and slay the demons attacking Aneta. Then Speak with Aneta to complete the quest.
