This article will guide you through all the objectives of the quest “The Inkwell” in the game Banishers Ghosts of New Eden.

As the quest starts, you will be speaking with Lammy.
Reach the Source of the Ooze
Pass through the narrow gap in the wall and continue down the main road until you reach an area with red floors. You can switch to Antea, who is unaffected by it.
At the end of the path, look for a Ghost Ward in the distance and destroy it.
Switch to Antea and use the Spectral ring on the left to jump to the next platform.
Defeat the enemies and leap to the platform to your left to locate the Void breach, which is filled with red ooze. Interact with it.
Proceed within the cave to see another floor covered in red ooze. Continue until you spot a house in the distance.
Investigate the house
Enter the house, proceed to the adjoining room, and breach the wooden barrier.
Exit the house, you’ll find an Echo on the ground alongside a pool of ooze.
Interact with Red Ooze.
Explore the cave
At this moment, a spirit will appear and a new path will also emerge near the wooden shelf. Head into the new path.
Destroy the ghost-ward
Head to the right, where two Ghost Wards are stopping Antea from spawning. Go to the end of the area and shoot the two Ghost Ward in the distance.
Switch to Antea and use Outburst to clear the blocked path on the left.
This will trigger a Boss fight – Clemency Gibbs. After the fight inspect the bag.
Following the battle, climb the ledge located to the right to progress. Move northeastward until the end, then switch to Antea. Align the spectral rings and leap to the other side.
Find the Source of the Ooze
As you go, break the small stalagmites on the floor. Then fight some enemies.
Continue along the right path to locate another red oozing area. Switch to Antea to cross the pool of slime and turn left.
Go up the ramp, and crawl along the wall to reach an area overlooking the ooze pool below.
Shoot the rope to clear the path. Drop down and proceed to the new opening.
Continue into the new area until you reach a real waterfall. Defeat the spirits and investigate the waterfall.
Continue down the route until you reach an open space that is half ooze and half ground. Examine the footsteps near a bag, followed by more footsteps in the center and a corpse at the edge.
Switch to Antea, remove the spectral web, and listen to an Echo.
Defeat the enemies, followed by a boss fight.
Continue up the sloping route until you reach the top, where you can see a circular space below you. The quest will end here.
