Starting Location
The Lone Phantom Sail is unlocked by completing the “Hey, This Isn’t Pumpkin Soup…” quest at the Merusea Village in Fontaine. You can initiate the quest by talking to the Ahes (NPC) at “A Lonely Place“. She will ask you to use conches to send out signals using an Echoing Chonch.
Go to the place Ahes mentioned
Ahes will direct you to a location in the Elton Trench’s underwater section. Follow the marker to reach the location. You will find Ahes beside an Echoing Conch and she will ask you to send a signal.
Use the conches to send the signal
Look for a nearby Xenochromatic Blubberbeast to absorb its ability and apply it to the Echoing Conch. Short low notes indicate that the ability should just be gently touched, while long low notes indicate that the ability should be pushed and held.
Simply press the Blubberbeast skill next to the conch to send a short note. Hold the skill and hit the conch with it for the long note.
