This guide shows the complete walkthrough of “Request 20: The Mysterious Will-o-the-Wisp” in Pokemon Legends Arceus. For this request, you will need to find and catch the Will-o-the-Wisp in Windswept Run.

How to Start Request 20 (The Mysterious Will-o-the-Wisp)

You will get the quest by talking to the NPC named Paira in Jubilife Village at the location shown in the picture below. She will ask you to find and catch the Will-o-the-Wisp in Windswept Run.

Will-o-the-Wisp Location

Will-o-the-Wisp appears only during the night. You can change the time of the day to night by resting at your Quarters or in the camp.

At night, go to Windswept Run at the location marked in the picture below. The location will be highlighted with an objective marker (Press ‘A’ while hovering over a request to track it)

At the marked location, Investigate the tree as shown in the picture below. This will make the Chimchar at top of the tree, jump down. Catch the Chimchar and take it to Paira to complete the request.
