This guide shows how to complete the “The Pursuit of Perfection” Side Quest in chapter 9 in the Corel Region of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game, released on 29th February 2024.

Starting Location
To begin the subquest, go to the Gongaga Village Community Noticeboard or speak with Weaponsmith. He will tell the player he wants to craft the greatest weapon ever. But need help to find the essential elements required to craft the weapon.
Take Izo’s Map
After accepting the sidequest from Weaponsmith (Izo), head in the south direction to Izo’s shed. Enter Izo’s shed and collect the map. Map is on a box near wooden planks.
Find the Draconite Deposits
Using all 5 photos follow the path in the northwest to reach the location of the draconite deposits. Here you will be attacked by a group of Daggerwings. Defeat all the Daggerwings before you can start collecting draconite deposits.
Gather Draconite Ore
Players need to collect eight pieces of draconite deposits ore. These draconite deposits ore are of big blue color. Two draconite deposits of ore are next to the rope, below in ledge at ground level.
Climb up the rope and head to your right to find two draconite deposits on a small ledge.
After going up the rope, follow the path that goes straight ahead. You can find the remaining draconite deposits there.
Deliver the Draconite Ore
Return to Izo and deliver the draconite deposits to end the quest.
