This guide shows the location of all Nornir Chests and how to solve the puzzles to open these chests in The Sinkholes area of the Vanaheim Region in God of War Ragnarok.
1) The Sinkholes Nornir Chest 1
As you enter the area on a long zipline, go to the cave on the west side to find the chest as shown in the pictures below. To unlock the chest, you will have to ignite three torches.
Go left from the chest to find Torch #1 as shown in the picture below. Shoot purple arrows and hit one of the purple arrows with your blade to cause an explosion, igniting the torch.
Go right from the chest to find Torch #2 as shown in the picture below. Shoot purple arrows and hit one of the purple arrows with your blade to cause an explosion, igniting the torch.
Climb up the mountain wall behind Torch #2. From there, you can see Torch #3 up ahead on the mountain on the south side as shown in the picture below. Shoot purple arrows and hit one of the purple arrows with your blade to cause an explosion, igniting the torch. This will unlock the chest. Open it to get a Horn of Blood Mead
2) The Sinkholes Nornir Chest 2
You will find this chest after coming out from the dark tunnel at the location shown in the pictures below during The Burning Skies Favor. To unlock the chest, you will have to destroy three totems at once.
Totem #1 is on the left side of the chest as shown in the picture below. Hit it with a spear.
Totem #2 is on the right side of the chest as shown in the picture below. Hit it with a spear.
Go further right to find Totem #3 as shown in the picture below. Hit it with a spear. Then press “Triangle” to explode the three totems at once. This will unlock the chest. Open it to get an Idunn Apple.
