The Yokai is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This article will guide the player through all objectives of The Yokai mission including the location of all 6 Yokai members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Starting Location
The Yokai side quest can be initiated by speaking with NPC Mamusi at Nyoiji Daiji Temple at Hills of Meeting at Yamashiro. Refer to the location below.
Speak to Mamushi and he will ask for your help to deal with the Yokai group.
The Yokai Walkthrough
In this quest, your mission is to find and defeat all six Yokai hidden across Japan.
Oshiroi Baba
You can find Oshiroi Baba in the Yamato province in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. She appears at night in a small, hidden spot to the west of the Omiwa Shrine.
Kappa
Kappa is only found at nighttime. You will find Kappa east of the Haunted Tatarigami Village at Genbu Highlands in Yamashiro.
Go to this location at night to find two green-colored children near the makeshift wooden bridge. Chase them to reach Haunted Tatarigami Village.
Taka Nyudo
Taka Nyudo can be found in Kabasaka Village, which is located in the “Silver Lands” region of Tamba.
Bakemono
Bakemono only appears during the summer or fall seasons. Bakemono can be found at the Suika Lands of Yawata Plains in Izumi Settsu.
Daitengu
The Daitengu is found at Arima Onsen in the Kakogawa Estuary area of the Harima region.
Yuki Onna
Yuki Onna only appears during the winter season. She is located in Suzuha Foothills at OMI. Exact location is southeast of Nomura Village.
You’ll find her standing near the stairs, just outside a cave. Talk to her first, then follow her into the cave behind her to finish the encounter and take her down.
Return to Mamushi
Return to Mamushi, enter the tower to start a cutscene, and then defeat Ao Andon.
