You get the “Try Exploring Pastoria City” objective on arriving at Pastoria City in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP). This is a fairly simple objective, but if you miss it then it might become a little annoying. This guide shows how to complete the “Try Exploring Pastoria City” objective and then Chase the Grunt heading east of Pastoria City in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP).
Try Exploring Pastoria City
Talk to the grunt talking on the right side of the Pastoria City Pokemon Center as shown in the picture below. The grunt will say that a package has arrived from Veilstone Warehouse and it’s his job to deliver this to the lake. Then he will run in the east direction.
Follow the Grunt as he runs in the east direction. You will catch up to him just in a little while. Talk to him and then he will again run in the east direction.
Chase the Grunt heading east of Pastoria City
Now your objective will be updated to “Chase the Grunt heading east of Pastoria City”. Chase the gunt to reach Route 213. Then head south, where you will find the Grunt standing on the beach as shown in the picture below. Talk to him then he will again run away.
Run along the beach in the east direction. Then go north and enter the building as shown below. Come out from the other side of the building to reach Route 213.
Keep heading north until you reach Valor Lakefront. here you will find the Grunt at the location shown in the picture below. Talk to the grunt and then fight him to complete the objective.
