How to Use the Conches to Send a Signal
Ahes (NPC) in the quest “The Lone Phantom Sail” will direct you to a location in the Elton Trench’s underwater section. Follow the marker to reach the location. You will find Ahes beside an Echoing Conch and she will ask you to send a signal.
Look for a nearby Xenochromatic Blubberbeast to absorb its ability and apply it to the Echoing Conch. Short low notes indicate that the ability should just be gently touched, while long low notes indicate that the ability should be pushed and held.
Simply press the Blubberbeast skill next to the conch to send a short note. Hold the skill and hit the conch with it for the long note.
If you speak to Ahes, she’ll tell you the pattern you must follow and should send 10 signals.
