Cursed Tomb Treasure Side Quest Walkthrough

This guide shows how to complete the Use the Mysterious Map Fragment to find the treasure objective in the Cursed Tomb Treasure side quest in the Hogwarts Legacy game, which released on 10th February 2023. The objective starts after you collect the Mysterious Map Fragment from the Old Manor in the Manor Cape area as shown in the picture below. Click here to see how to get the Mysterious Map fragment.

Once you have the treasure map, go to the Tomb of Treachery in the Poidsear Coast area. It is behind the waterfall as shown in the pictures below.

After entering the tomb, proceed ahead until you reach a moth puzzle door. To open the door, you need to find three moths and use the Lumos spell to guide them into the door. Two of the months are in the room on the right side of the locked door and are very easy to find. For the final path, go to the room on the left side of the locked door. Lift the crate behind the spider web there and move it next to the platform as shown in the picture below. Now use the crate to climb up the platform and find the final moth. Use the Lumos spell to bring all three moths to the locked door. This will unlock the door.

Now proceed ahead and you will reach the final puzzle area. There, you will find nine tiles on the floor. Use the Flipendo spell on three tiles as per the treasure map as shown in the picture below. This will reveal a secret treasure chest. Open the chest to get Treasure-Seeker’s Attire.
