Valentin, the leader of MagMell Forma, asks for your help in locating four Tomes scattered across the map. This article guides you through the exact locations of all four Tomes and explains how to collect them to complete Valentin’s request in Code Vein 2.
Shoreline Cavern
For the first Tome, make your way to MagMell Island and head toward the location marked on your map. From there, follow the western coastline until you find a cave entrance.
Enter the cave to reach the Shoreline Cavern and continue along the path leading up to the Temporal Rift. Go inside the rift and move all the way to the opposite end, then pass through the double doors to enter the boss arena.
Here, you will face the Boss Slaughter Engine Goliath. Defeat the boss to complete the first part of Valentin’s request and obtain the first Tome.
Sunken City
It is found northeast of the Cliffside Ruins in the Sunken City. Use the map for reference to pinpoint the exact location.
Begin by fast traveling to the Cliffside Ruins travel point and enter the nearby hotel building. Follow the interior path and climb up using the fallen section of the ceiling to reach the upper floor.
From there, continue moving north until you exit the hotel into an open area. Keep heading north until you reach a cave entrance.
Go inside the cave and pass through the double doors to enter the boss arena. Defeat Biosis Cod to obtain the second Tome in Code Vein 2.
Corroded Scar
It is located at Mine Site Northern Cave. To reach the Mine Site Northern Cave, you should begin from the Sealed Great Mine area.
Use the Mistles fast travel point here as your starting reference. From the Mistles, head down the stairs and move toward the northeast direction. As you move forward, you will notice the terrain narrowing and curving upward.
Follow this sharp bend in the hill and take a right turn at the top to reach an old rail track. Stay on this rail track and continue straight, using it as your main guide, until you arrive at the Corroded Mine area.
Once inside the Corroded Mine, look for a makeshift bridge and carefully cross it to reach the northern side. After crossing, keep moving north and begin climbing the uphill path ahead.
This uphill route leads directly to the entrance of the Mine Site Northern Cave. Enter the cave and activate the Mistles point. From there, continue deeper into the cave, following the main path until you reach the Corroded Scar Temporal Rift location.
Defeat the Queen of the Rift to complete the third Valentin’s Tome request.
Undead Forest
It is located at the Cult’s Hidden Cave in the Undead Forest. Defeat the three waves of enemies to get the last tome.
