This guide shows the complete walkthrough of White Faced Varre in Elden Ring.
Talk to Varre in Limgrave
Varre is probably the first NPC you will talk to in the game. You will find him near The First Step Site of Grace in Limgrave as shown below.
Talk to Varre in Liurnia & Invade 3 worlds
After you have defeated Godrick in the Stormveil castle, Varre will move to the Rose Church in Liurnia as shown in the pictures below. Talk to him and he will give you Festering Bloody Finger, which is used to invade another player’s world. Now you have to use 3 of the Festering Bloody Fingers he has given you. To invade another player’s world, simply open your inventory and use a Festering Bloody Finger. When a connection is established, you will receive a message that you are invading another player. If it is taking you time to get connected, then you should try using the Festering Bloody Finger in an area where more players are probably present, like a summoning pool, vendors, grace sites, etc.
Soak the cloth with a Maiden’s Blood
After you have invaded three players, go back to Varre in Rose Church and Talk to him. He will give you a Lord of Blood’s Favor cloth and will ask you to soak it with a Maiden’s blood.
Now go to the Church of Inhibition in Liurnia. Here you will find the corpse of a maiden. Go near it and interact with it to soak the cloth with her blood as shown in the pictures below.
Report Back to Varre & Travel to
Report back to Varre and he will give you a Bloody Finger and a Pureblood Knight’s Medal.
Now open your inventory and use the Pureblood Knight’s Medal. This will teleport you to Mohgwyn Palace.
As you get teleported to Mohgwyn Palace, climb up the stairs straight ahead and collect the map as shown below.
Invade Varre
In Mohgwyn Palace, make your way to the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint Site of Grace. Go inside the room in front of this SIte of Grace. There you will see a red summon symbol as shown in the pictures below. Interact with the symbol to invade Varre and defeat him. Go back to the room where you found the red symbol, Varre will be lying there. Talk to him for some extra dialogues.
Get invaded by Varre Twice
Make your way to the swamp at the bottom. Here you will get invaded by Varre. Defeat him and reload the area. Then go back to the swamp again and you will get invaded by Varre for a second time. In the map below I have marked the locations where Varre spawned. After defeating Varre for the second time you will receive his outfit. This will complete the questline.
