Starting Location
Were It So Easy quest can be initiated by talking to Cosanzeana at Merusea Village, in the nation of Fontaine.
The quest will not be available at the initial meeting with Cosanzeana. Meet Cosanzeana in Merusea Village after finishing the third act of Ancient Colours. Offer her a flower from the discussion, plant it, and then water it with a Hydro attack to obtain a Strange Part from Cosanzeana.
You must wait an entire day before returning to Cosanzeana to begin the quest Were It So Easy.
Were It So Easy – Walkthrough
Teleport to the Merusea Village again. Now, you can find Cosanzeana in front of her house. If you talk to her, she’ll tell you that she hasn’t checked the flowers in a day. Go to the flower garden to investigate it by following the path past the nearby waypoint.
Defeat the Breacher Primus
A Breacher Primus will spawn along the way, defeat it, and interact with the Melusine again.
Look for Clues in the Area
Someone appears to have wrecked Cosanzeana’s flower garden, so you have to find clues to catch the culprit. Look for it by investigating the glowing spots around the garden. The place has several shining spots, but only one is helpful. Look for the spot nearest to the tunnel where you came from. Investigating this location will result in the appearance of a Gardemek!
Defeat the Gardemek
Defeat the enemy and the quest will end after another cutscene.
