This guide explains where to find all three Flintbeetles to complete the side quest ‘Volatile Flintbeetles’ in Hollow Knight Silksong, released on 4th September 2025.
Volatile Flintbeetles Location #1
The first Flintbeetle can be found in the lower left chamber of The Marrow. This particular room is the very first area you can access when entering from the Bone Bottom.
After entering the chamber, climb up the ledges to reach the top of the room. You can spot these Flintbeetles clinging to the walls of the chamber, where they remain partially hidden. Only their bright orange gems are visible
Volatile Flintbeetles Location #2
The second Flintbeetle can be found in the upper-right chamber of The Marrow.
Volatile Flintbeetles Location #3
The third Flintbeetle can be found in the top-most chamber of The Marrow.
Once you have gathered all three gems from the Volatile Flintbeetles, make your way back to the Wishwall. Here, you can deposit the gems. This will end the quest.
