This article will guide you on where to locate Infernal Iron in Baldur’s Gate 3. You’ll need Infernal Iron if you want to help Karlach out with her overheating problem in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Infernal Iron Location 1
The earliest location where you can find Infernal Iron in Baldur’s Gate 3 is at the north end of Blighted Village. Proceed north from the Blighted Village waypoint and enter the house on your right.
Enter the room on the right to find a big hole in the floor covered by a calcified web. Shoot a Fire Bolt on the web to burn the web. After clearing the hole, leap through it to access the basement of the house.
In the basement, leave that chest as it’s a trap and climb the ladder to reach the upper platform with a locked wooden chest.
This locked wooden chest contains Infernal Iron. To open the chest, you’ll need Thief’s Tools and a character with enough Sleight of Hand as you’ll have to pass a Dexterity Check.
Infernal Iron Location 2
The second place where you can locate Infernal Iron is deep inside the Shattered Sanctum. It is inside a Treasure Crates locked away in the hall where Dror Ragzlin is performing his ritual.
You can consume a Potion of Invisibility and then lockpick the Iron Gate.
