This article will guide the player on where to find the Find Red Spore Samples and Download the Data Cartridge to complete the quest ‘The Lab that Shouted Incoherently and Often’ in Outer Worlds 2.

As you move forward in the quest, you’ll get a task to find a person named Omid Ormsby, who is trapped inside Eden’s Bounty Agricenter Lab. Once you find him, he’ll ask you to collect Red Spore Samples and download the Data Cartridge to progress in the quest.
Retrieve Two Red Spore Samples
After speaking with Omid Ormsby, leave the lab, and your next objective is to find the Red Spore Samples. Head northwest from the lab into the mountain area.
When you reach the location, look around for bright red plants. These are the Red Spore Samples. Collect at least two of them to complete this part of the quest.
Download the Data Cartridge
Now, you need to find a computer terminal at Eden’s Bounty Agricenter Lab and download the data. The terminal is located inside a building in the southeast part of the area.
Head toward the southeast, and when you reach the spot, climb onto the roof of the building. Enemy scouts are walking around, so move quietly so they don’t see you.
Once you’re inside the building, look for the computer terminal. Use it and select “Download Data” to get the Data Cartridge.
Synthesize the Antidote
Finally, return to Omid Ormsby in the lab and talk to him. Then, interact with the device in front of the window to exchange the Samples.
After that, go to your left and use the Chemical Synthesizer on the table to make the antidotes. Once you’re done, speak with Omid one last time to complete the quest.
