Riolu spawns only during daytime and in sunny weather. When these conditions are met, it can sometimes be found on the rooftops of certain buildings. A confirmed location to encounter Riolu is on the rooftop of the Magenta Sector 9 building, where it can be spotted moving around.
The rooftop can be reached by using the scaffolding and the makeshift bridge

Riolu can be found in Rouge Sector 4 during the daytime, often spotted on the rooftop. This location is northwest of Lumiose City and east of the Poké Ball Boutique. The rooftop can be accessed via a ladder located in the northeast corner of the building.
