Complete the “Lost Chapter: Body Sea” Quest
To unlock the Flaming Meteor skill, make your way to the foggy northern region and start the Body Sea questline. Your objective here is to track down and activate three drums hidden throughout the swamp.
Return to the temple at the center of the swamp, and speak with the NPC there. This triggers a teleport into an illusion realm. Continue along the straightforward path until you reach Yay Wanchan, the boss of this area. Defeat him using any combat approach you like, and you’ll be returned to the real world afterward.
Once you’ve beaten him for the first time, you can re-enter the illusion whenever you want simply by striking the drum again.
Trigger the Eye Meter & Begin the Real Challenge
Re-enter the illusion and start the fight again. This time, you’ll notice a white eye icon beside the boss’s health bar. Around that icon is a meter you need to fill to obtain Flaming Meteor.
How to Fill the Eye Meter
To fill the Eye Meter, you need to focus on Yay Wanchan’s signature move. During the fight, he’ll leap into the air, his weapon will glow bright red, and he’ll come crashing down with a powerful strike. Every perfect parry adds progress to the Eye Meter, so keep timing your counters until the meter is full.
After the Eye Meter reaches its maximum, all that’s left is to wrap up the fight. Take down the boss, and you’ll be granted the Flaming Meteor mystic skill once the battle ends.
