In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you will find a side quest in Kakariko Village where a woman asks you to help find her seven missing Cuccos. These chickens are scattered across different parts of the village. To finish the quest, find all seven Cuccos and bring them back to the pen near the Cucco Lady. This guide shows you where to find every one of these Cuccos.
Cuckoo 1: The Pile of Bricks
The first cuckoo is sitting on top of a pile of bricks on the left side of the pen. Use your slingshot to knock it down. Pick it up and carry it back to the pen.
Cuckoo 2: The Building Under Construction
The second cuckoo is near the building under construction, close to the pen. Grab it and take it back.
Cuckoo 3: West Side of the Village
Head to the right side from the Pen. You will find a cuckoo standing there in plain sight. Pick it up and bring it to the pen.
Cuckoo 4: Near the Top Gate
The fourth cuckoo is on the opposite side of the village. Refer to the location on the map. You will spot a cuckoo roaming around the stone stairs. Pick it up and take it back.
Cuckoo 5: Inside the Crate
The fifth cuckoo is hiding inside a crate in the middle of the village. Run up to it and hit the crate a few times until it breaks. Pick up the cuckoo and carry it to the pen.
Cuckoos 6 and 7: The Windmill
To find the last two Cuccos, you need to use a chicken to glide over a fence into an area you cannot reach otherwise. Head towards the windmill and climb the stairs leading to the red door on the top. Use the Cuckoo to glide across the fence.
You will spot the sixth Cuckoo just below you. Next, toss the Cuckoo you are carrying over the fence and also Cuckoo #6 so you can collect them later.
Look for a ladder in this closed-off area and climb to the top. You will find the seventh and final Cuckoo waiting there.
