All Choices: Saving Aitor or Letting him Die | Aitor Side Quest | Dying Light 2

This walkthrough will walk you through everything you need to know about “Saving Aitor or Letting him Die” choices in the side quest Aitor. This side quest, automatically started during the main story “Welcome On Board”, if you told Jack Matt what happened to Aitor during the main story “A Place To Call Home”. The is just an optional side quest that becomes unavailable after completing the main story “The Lost Sight / Cathedral”

In the side quest, you will be at a point where the Peacekeepers found Aitor badly injured and in a coma from Walt’s attack in the tunnel. Aitor desperately needs medicine to survive. You’ll be sent to Margaret the healer, who instructs you to gather petals from Recluse flowers that only appear at night. With the right petals, you can cure Aitor’s affliction and save his life.

Return to the Medical Bay at the marked location with the petals. You’ll be put on the spot with a life or death decision. You have to choose which petals to give Aitor, or if you should even give him anything at all. Your choice will affect the rewards and results.


The first choice has two options:

#1 – Never met any witches: Don’t receive information about Aitor’s involvement with Margaret
#2 – I got herbs from her: Receive information about Aitor’s involvement with Margaret. Select this.

The second choice has four options:

#1 – Radio Lawan for advice: In the Radio call, Lawan confirms that small petals have healing properties

#2 – I give Aitor the small petals: Aitor survives and gets rewards like 1500 Combat XP, 1500 Agility XP, Rage Booster (Blueprint), 1000 Old World Money, 

#3 – I give Aitor the big petals: Aitor dies and you will get quest rewards like 1500 Combat XP, 1500 Agility XP, 1000 Old World Money, 

#4 – I refuse to give Aitor the herbs: Aitor remains in a coma. Get 1500 Combat XP, 1500 Agility XP, Rage Booster (Blueprint), 1000 Old World Money.
