This walkthrough will walk you through everything you need to know about an important choice in the Cheers! side quest: “hide or tell the truth about Marco.”
The story behind this quest is that someone has poisoned the water at the Bazaar, and Julian (Merchant) was the prime suspect. Julian blamed his water supplier, Marco, for the poisoned water. Your mission will be to find Marco the water trader, who was selling poisoned water and now he needs your assistance in covering it up. You have the option of agreeing to a deal with Marco and framing Julian, or you can tell the truth and save Julian instead. But which is the smarter choice?

Agree to Marco’s deal
Marco will explain the entire situation, claiming that he sold the poisoned water to Julian by mistake. If you agree to keep the truth about Macro hidden and frame Julian, the game immediately ends the side quest and Marco rewards you. Julian does not reappear later in the game, and the quest concludes.
Tell the truth to the people of the Bazaar
If you select the correct option – I’ll tell them the truth – Marco will attack you. Return to Julian after killing Marco to explain that Marco was responsible for the poisoned water. Marco does not reappear later in the game, and his absence has no bearing on the player.
