Aiden is currently working with Jack Matt and the Peacekeepers at this point in the story. Juan’s offer represents your first opportunity to take a different path and work against the Peacekeepers. Depending on your selection, you will receive different story quests. The Lost Sight story quest if you choose not to go with Juan, or the Cathedral story quest if you do.
Stick With Matt
If you stick with Jack Matt, the story will progress as planned. Aiden will be assigned the story quest “The Lost Sight,” and he will follow Matt’s plan to find the UV lamps. This is the best option because it does not jeopardize your relationship with the Peacekeepers. Juan will dispatch Aiden to locate a man named Demoulin who possesses the UV lamps Matt requires. Immediately following this mission, the story will return to the other option.
Help Juan
If you choose to assist Juan, the story will diverge from the normal path and you will receive a new story quest called Cathedral. Juan will deliver the lamps to Matt and will ask you to go to the Cathedral to find a guy in order to obtain a device that will let him spy on Jack Matt and the Peacekeepers. He will also be able to bug the transmitter and place it on top of the VNC spire. Immediately following this mission, the story will return to the other option.
