This article will guide you on how to solve the Old Temple Mechanism in Alone In The Dark, which is released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 20, 2024.
Lens #1
Start by activating the lever located to the left of the Dark Man statue to open the door on the right.
Enter into the door and continue following the path until you reach a room with a statue and a chest. Collect the lens from the chest and place it on the statue.
Activate the lever located near the entrance and move the beam of light to the blue gem to open the door to the next area.
Enter inside the newly open door and follow the path. Take the first available left turn to find a small statue,
Interact with it and move the light beam on the gem located all the way to the right. Move the light back to the gems on the crown of the Dark Man statue.
Lens #2
Backtrack a few steps, turn left to approach the newly opened door and go downstairs. Break through the barrier and enter the room.
Activate the lever and move the light beam on the chest to open it and retrieve the lens with the star symbol.
Exit the room, turn right, and go upstairs. Then go to the platform directly opposite the large statue of the Dark Man.
Place the lens on the small statue and direct the light beam towards the gems above the entrance to the right of the huge statue.
Move the light back to the gems on the crown of the Dark Man statue
Lens #3
Go down to the main room. Enter the newly opened door and proceed down the stairs.
Break past the barrier and enter the room. Activate the lever and guide the light beam towards the eye.
Exit the room and proceed to the adjacent room. Move the light beam on the chest to unlock it and retrieve the third lens.
Head to the balcony where the last statue you haven’t interacted with is located.
Place the third lens on the small statue and aim the light beam to the small gem in the Dark Man statue’s crown.
Finally to complete your task, go to the statue located on the crown of Dark Man’s head and direct the light beam to the floor.
