This guide shows you how to complete the Story Quest “As the Courtyard in Spring Once Appeared” for Day 2 in Golden Apple Archipelago of Genshin Impact 2.8. This is the guide for Domain 1.

As the Courtyard in Spring Once Appeared (Domain/Part 2)
Initially, you have to wait the following day (06:00 — 24:00) to start the quest. Then talk to Paimon and ride the boat (Miitoboru) after you experience the illusion.
Go to the island where the strange phenomena occurred
Sail to the mysterious island to meet the other characters. After a long conversation, you’ll be moved to a different location (Domain 1) where Kazuha is missing.
Investigate the area
After the initial conversation with the group, go to the adjacent room (utility room) and interact with the letter on the table to read it.
Operate the device and investigate further
Next, you have to do the puzzle. Change the lever position to “Unknown Chamber”. As the door to the unknown room opens, you will find a treasure chest locked with a Prismatic seal.
In Game Tutorial
At this point, the game will introduce a “Prismatic Rampart” that can be used to fire arrows of a different color. You can change the angle of elevation, and depression and rotate it to allow it to hit the target in different positions.
A prismatic seal of a certain color can be dispelled by the arrow of the color fired by the Prismatic Ramparts. There are three different colors for seals and arrows.
After you have picked up a Prismatic Gem, you can unlock a new arrow color at the Prismatic Ramparts.
STEP 1
Go to the small room on your left. Don’t rotate anything here. Fire the Prismatic Rampart (Green) to collect the Yellow Prismatic Gem.
STEP 2
Set the lever position to “Unknown Chamber” if not done earlier. When the door to the Unknown Chamber is opened, you will find Treasure Chest with a Yellow Prismatic Seal.
Use the Yellow Prismatic Gem that you had collected in Step 1 to change the color of the Prismatic Rampart.
Next, readjust the direction of other relay devices (with no color Prismatic Rampart). Finally, fire the Prismatic Rampart (Yellow) to break the seal around the chest. Refer to the below image of readjustment.
Enter the corridor and explore further
Continue your journey and keep going forward until you find a table ( inside the collection room). Interact with the note on the table.
Investigate the area
Go to the lever to change the room. Here you will find two “Unknown Chamber” options.
STEP 1 – Unknown Chamber 1
Switch the lever to open up the first Unknown Chamber. Head inside the first Unknown Chamber when the door opens. Defeat all the enemies in the room to collect the Yellow Prismatic Gem.
STEP 2 – Collection room
Change the Lever position to the Collection room. Next, readjust the direction of other relay devices as shown in the below image. Use the Yellow Prismatic Gem to change the Prismatic Rampart’s color.
Then Fire the Prismatic Rampart (Yellow) to break the seal around the chest.
STEP 3 – Unknown Chamber 2
Switch the lever to open up the second Unknown Chamber. Move forward to find a locked door.
Investigate the surroundings and find a way to open the door
STEP 4
Here you have to place two Melodic Omamori in special shrines near the locked door. You can find the first Melodic Omamori as you turn right.
Step 5
For the second Melodic Omamori, follow the path on the right. Climb some ladders, cross a wooden plank, and dodge Electro arrows on the way until you find an Exquisite Chest. Melodic Omamori is in front of the Exquisite Chest.
Step 6
Once you pick the second Melodic Omamori, jump down the nearby hole and place the Melodic Omamori on the shrine to open the door.
Operate the device and investigate further
Continue your journey and keep going forward to find another room with a lever. Here you have to visit three unknown chambers.
#1 unknown chambers 1 (optional)
Defeat all the enemies and collect Yellow Prismatic Gem
#2 unknown chambers 2 (optional)
Readjust the direction of only 1 relay device. Follow the hallway and jump down. The first relay devices after jumping down need to be adjusted only. Head back and fire the Prismatic Rampart (Yellow) to break the seal around Orange Prismatic Gem.
#3 unknown chambers (optional)
Change the color of Prismatic Rampart to orange. Readjust the direction of relay devices so that arrow can hit the sealed chest. Fire the Prismatic Rampart (Orange) to break the seal around the chest. Here you will find just 5 primogem
Place the offerings (X/3)
Set the Lever position to the courtyard (first room) and head inside. Here you have to pick up three Melodic Omamori and offer them at three special shrines.
First Melodic Omamori as the door opens. Interact with it to listen and then pick up. Place the Melodic Omamori on the shrine after the first stairs.
Continue to follow the corridor to find a second Melodic Omamori. Place the Melodic Omamori on the shrine after the second big stairs.
Continue to go upstairs to find the last Melodic Omamori and place them on the shrines near the door at the end of the stairs.
Once you offer all the three Melodic Omamori, you will find Kazuha behind the last door.
