This guide shows how to complete a limited-time World Quest “Bake-Danuki Wanderlust” in the game of Genshin Impact 2.8

How to Unlock the Bake-Danuki Wanderlust

The Bake-Danuki Wanderlust Quest is available after you have completed the quest ”As the Courtyard in Spring Once Appeared”. Head to Bonsai pot and rearrange the Bonsai Hovering Rocks: Right and Hovering Rocks: Left to unlock the quest on Pudding Isle.

Go to the marker on the Pudding Isle and find a Bake-Danuki to initiate the quest.

Use Elemental Sight to look for clues

Speak with Bake-Danuki, who will inform you of the whereabouts of Shibasuke and need your help in searching Shibasuke.

At this point use your Elemental Sight to find the way. Elemental Sight will direct the traveler right above the cliff to a tree stump.

Talk to Mamesuke

After interacting with the tree stump, go back to Mamesuke and talk to them.

Go to the bonsai & Change the stone formation on the right side of the bonsai to Leisurely Rocks

Next, go back to the Bonsai pot and select Leisurely Rock: Right

Look for Shibasuke on the mountain

Now, head to the top of Pudding Isle and defeat the hilichurls guarding the cage.

Rescue the bake-danuki

Free Shibasuke and head back to the Bonsai and speak with Mamesuke.

Change the stone formation on both sides of the bonsai to Leisurely Rocks

Rearrange the Bonsai pot again to have Leisurely Rocks on both sides and then speak with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Catch up with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Head to the Pudding Isle and Talk to Mamesuke and Shibasuke.

Destroy the Anemo Amber

After the cutscene, destroy the Anemo Amber and then talk with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Give the Sunsettias to Mamesuke

Glide over the Anemo barrier to grab the Sunsettias and then talk with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Catch up with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Next, follow Mamesuke and Shibasuke. You will find them on the eastern beach side of the island and then talk with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Defeat the Pyro Slime

After the cutscene, defeat all the enemies.

Change the stone formation on both sides of the bonsai to Unyielding Rocks

Head back to the Bonsai and change the rock formation. Both left and right sides of the pot as Unyielding Rocks and then talk with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Catch up with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Follow Mamesuke and Shibasuke to the Pudding Isle and then talk with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Solve the puzzle

You need to put pressure on both plates at the same time. You will need to use a character who can create Geo Structures to solve the puzzle. Simply put the Geo Structure on top of one pressure plate and you stand on another plate to solve the puzzle. Talk with Mamesuke and Shibasuke again.

Catch up with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Follow Mamesuke and Shibasuke to the western side of the Pudding Isle

Defeat the Ruin Guard

Defeat the enemy and then talk with Mamesuke and Shibasuke

Go to where the bonsai is once the island’s anomalies have stabilized

After defeating the Ruin Guard, head back to the Bonsai pot. Unfortunately, the quest will be locked until an upcoming quest is complete.

New quest name: Like Rhyme and Song, the summer Reverie
