Beldum is a Steel & Psychic-type Pokemon that you will find in the Grand Underground in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP). You will encounter Beldum only after you have unlocked the National Pokedex. This guide shows how to Unlock the National Pokedex and the underground hideaway/ Biome where you will find Togepi.
How to Unlock the National Pokedex
You won’t encounter Beldum until you have unlocked the National Pokedex. After finishing the Pokemon League, and registering all 150 Pokemon to the Sinnoh Pokedex, go and talk to the Professor in Sandgem town (see the pictures below) to get the National Pokedex. Where to Find Beldum
There is a total of 18 hideaways/Biomes in the Grand Underground. You will find Beldum in Rocky Cave, Whiteout Cave, Icy Cave, Big Bluff Cavern, & Glacial Cavern. These biomes can be identified on the minimap by their icon shown in the picture below. You will need to press ‘Y’ to open the minimap.
