This article will guide you through all the objectives of Chapter 12 of the game Resident Evil 4 Remake, released on 24 March 2023.
Make your way to the surface
Once the chapter begins, ride the elevator to return to the castle. Upon reaching the top of the elevator, you will arrive in the room to the north of the ballroom, where a gondola can take you to the clock tower. Board the gondola to cross over to the clock tower and proceed to enter it.
Get to the top of the clock tower
After the cutscene in the clock tower, start fighting the enemies and climbing the stairs. During the following two segments where you need to evade the fire-breathing statue while finding your path through Scaffolding, wait for it to approach and come to a halt before swiftly crossing its path to ensure the flames are trailing behind you.
Proceed further up the tower where a cut scene will reveal an enemy stationed above, dropping a giant metal ball down the stairs. Continue going up the stairs while avoiding these giant metal balls by moving into the inset sections on the sides of the staircase. When you reach the top eliminate the enemy near the lever, and then operate the lever to release a ball that kills incoming enemies.
You may drop down to the lower section and activate the lift lever, but make sure to prevent any enemies from boarding the elevator. Once you reach the top, exit through the door towards the front of the clock
Go after Ashley
Once outside follow the path through Scaffolding and enter a building to trigger a cut scene followed by a fight.
Defeat Ramon
Initiate the battle against Ramón Salazar while he’s in a mutated form. To inflict damage, aim for his exposed mouth (human body) using firearms or engage in melee combat when he falls to the ground. Salazar moves around the room with his tentacles and unleashes attacks such as shooting goo, dropping explosive goo on the ground, and attempting to slam into you. These attacks can be evaded by maintaining distance from Salazar and using parts of the arena as cover when he’s about to strike.
Go after Ashley
After successfully defeating Ramón, proceed to exit the chamber through the newly revealed pathway. Descend via the elevator and make your way to the boat house at the end. Interact with the boat to bring the chapter to a close.
