Starting Location
Players need to complete the main quest “Feast of Deception” and the side quest “Masked Correspondence” before they can start this quest. Go to Vernworth castle and speak with Sven in his room to start the quest.
Investigate the letter and report back to Sven
Sven wants you to investigate a letter written by Queen Disa. To complete this quest you need to go to Battahl and then to the Forbidden Magick Research Lab.
Journey to Battahl
You will get entry to Battahl using this article of the main quest “Nation of the Lambent Flame“
Go to Forbidden Magick Research Lab
Once you reach Battahl, proceed to the Forbidden Magick Research Lab. Refer to the location on the map below.
You can take the exit east of the Dye store to reach there.
From the exit follow the main road and then cross the bridge on your right to reach the lab.
Enter the laboratory and proceed to the lower floor. You can hear two persons talking inside Laboratorium – Workshop #2.
Once they left, enter the Laboratorium – Workshop #2 and take the Letter to Lord Phaesus from the table.
Deliver the letter to Sven to end the quest.
