Dragon’s Dogma 2: Claw Them Into Shape Walkthrough

Starting Location

Head southwest out of Borderwatch Outpost to Moonglow Garden. Refer to the location on the map. At nighttime speak with the trainer Beren (NPC) in the camp to start the quest. Beren is looking for a motivated soldier and some swords.

Procure weapons and find a motivated soldier

After accepting the quest, follow the main quest until you reach Vernworth. 

Find Beren a motivated soldier to train

In Vernworth, the player will find an NPC named Humphrey. He is looking for a good instructor and approach you at the location marker below, southeast of Clovis’s Barberie. Choose the dialogue “Tell him about Beren”

Procure three swords for Beren

Purchase three swords of any type at the Borderwatch Outpost for Beren.

Have a bout with Beren

Go back to Beren and let him know about NPC Humphrey and deliver the swords. After that, he will ask the player for a friendly one-on-one fight. Winning the fight is not required.

Follow Beren

After the friendly fight, a soldier asks Beren for help with a goblin attack. Follow Beren to finish the quest.
