Starting Location
Visit the Checkpoint Rest Town and enter the main town area. Speak with Grandpa Morris (NPC), and he will beg for your help in finding the lost child named Rodge.
Step 1: Talk to Townfolks
You need to talk to three NPCs at the village’s entrance. If they don’t appear then leave the village and come back after some time.
Timothy: He will tell you that he met Rodge near the cenotaph on the town’s east side and was attacked by a wolf.
Alsa: She stands beside the well and claims that the flowers that bloom here shine at night.
Jacint: She will speak about the flowerbed outside the town.
Step 2: Go to the east of the Village
Head east from the town to reach the marked location marked on the map. o at night so that you can follow the glowing flowers.
At this location, you will find a cluster of blue flowers can be found near some ruins. Rodge isn’t here, but you can mark this location for you as you’ll need to return here later.
Step 3: Talk with the guard at the Village entrance
Return to the village and speak with the guard near the entrance. He will only talk to you if he is free. He will not talk to you if he is busy with the cart.
He will direct you to the Putrid Cave to find the wolf den. The game will automatically mark the cave location on the map.
Step 4: Go to Putrid Cave
Go to the place you marked before with the flower bed and a campfire. From here, follow the glowing flowers and go around to the small wooden bridge.
After crossing the bridge, take a wider path down the mountain, and go past a castle tower. Continue down the route, looking for an entrance in the rocks (right side) that leads to Putrid Cave.
Inside the cave, you’ll find Rodge. Defeat the wolves to save Rodge.
Step 5: Return to Village
Return to the village, and make sure Kid (Rodge) follows you. If attacked, he will run back to the cave. Return him to Morris and obtain two Miracle Roborant healing items and 11,000 gold.
